Please Help.. Followed Tutorial and No Channels

Hi Peeps, Hope i can describe what i have done and hope its an easy fix...

Just a background, I am Ok with Flashing, Done the Eurovox and Starviews no problem. But this one has me stumped.

I followed the Noobs Guide on Here.

Flashed with DK V1.1, Scanned, Picked up Channels, Can watch FTA Channels no problem.

Realised i had no Keys or SCCe in the folders so Downloaded them from the rapid share link on the TUT... FXP'ed them across, Rebooted, Made sure EvoCamd 2.1.2 is running.

I am on S*Y Sp*rts 1 and No Picture

Model of Box is a DM500C I took a backup of the Original Flash so just trying to rebuild that on the box with the keys..

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi if you got the correct files in the right place you should be able to clear have you scanned for services for your area also start your cam on sly1 and reboot

I placed nov 9 files in all
directories
var/bin
var/keys
var/scce

made them chmod 755 executible
make sure keylist.txt is blank

it cleared 1st time in DK1 in OCT08 (DEVLISH???
I updated DK 1 to 1.1 using dreambox

even manually updated keys (but told to leave blank)

iv read ALL posts
EVO on s*y sports1

JUST GET BLACK SCREEN

Did we need any of the original nagrom files?
I deleted all /replaced all

something screwy?
I dont get sound so i cant even watch the FTA channels?

try 2.13 mate, that what a lot of us seem to be using without any probs.. 2.12 does not work for me..

How to change Evo which menu isit in

hopefully your dm will be connected to your router you can download it direct..,, i use a Dm600 (different remote control for a start) and have a PLi Iolite image running on.. but 2.13 is widely used by dm500 users but some use 2.17..

I download new cams by going to:

setup tools menu
software management
downloads
softcams / cardservers
older softcams
evocam
then tick the cams i want to download, you might as well try get 2.13 2.14 and 2.17


there could be another way of doing this so somebody else with the same box and image mat wish to advise further if you get stuck..

did you have sound previously? you said you did not get sound on your FTA channels before you changed to this emu.. check what boxes you have ticked in your audio setting...

some insist on having the AC3 box ticked..

Check your cables for a start and make sure you the try volume control for your tv and your dm..


EDIT.. ok you updated while i was typing the above... well done mate,,, time for you to go and have a play and get familiar with your kit now mate... remember to keep coming back to Dk, there are other things you can do with you dreambox...
