DM500 DM500-C Cant get any channels (No EPG/data services)

Hi, I just got a DM500c (with Jade3 PLI image - green color screenie )

I'm having problem trying to get any channels(FTA too), I connected everything correctly but on screen system says
NO EPG found & no data services.
My HDB unit doesnt have SCV points and its using HDB rooftop antenna(the one with TV/FM point)

Do I need to install SCV point so I can use the box?

I cant seem to scan or play around with the setup as I dont have the pin. I don't think i need to do anything as all the setting have already been set up.

Is there any other alternative to fix this issue? T_T Thanks in advance!

im afraid you have wasted your money m8, if your in sg which i think you are, nagravision 3 is being introduced there as we speak, a lot of channels have already gone and the rest to follow, should do research first, im in the uk we have had nag 3 for over 3 years now, and theres no fix for it, you might get a some sd channels and fta channels when you have fixed your problem, but the sd channels will soon go, imo i would sell it soon as you can.

hi kenshin98, yr house must had the digital scv antenna point not open roof antenna. even with Nagra 3 system you still can watch FTA channel.
must get a contractor to install the scv point.

are u staying in landed properties, HDB in new area where there havent lay the cables.
if there havent lay u cant do anything at all.
if there had lay the cables u dont need their service just a normal contractor will do.

yes you need SH to activate the point for you.. for HDB block, the SH point is just outside your house, inside the electrical riser. there is a box there which label SH.. you can open it (if you got the key) and fix a signal splitter in it.. or you can just get a contractor (non SH contractor) to do it for you.

but I guess you might want to wait for a while and see how thing goes.. cos last hear that SH is changing all their channels to nag3 by end of this month.. thereafter.. all box can only view free channels

too late he had already bought the box.
when their lay the cable, every house had already connect to the port. that mean inside the house the tv point can received the signal.
if you subscribe their service then they activate service to yr tv point.
