yep it sure is its my working backup

Don't know how that's actually working. In the cams folder you've copied the hypercam executable, rather than an empty file. This could be a perfectly valid 'trick' to forcing the cam to restart when the box reboots.

Also, you've not included a valid cables.xml which might be useful for others wanting an easy way to scan.

I've pulled your channels off so I can prepare an image for some friends.

this has cable file for ireland 6887 in it do a bruteforce scan it works fine here

Yep, but there is an Irish Cables.xml file which you can load into etc\tuxbox it includes NTL MMDS, NTL Cable and Chorus settings. It would turn your image into a 'one-size-fits-all' kind of thing.

I'm more baffled as to how the cam works with the executable file in the cams folder! Could be an idea and method for auto-restart of the cam when the box reboots.
