normally i just tell the shop i need (x null modem cable.)
after u buy just check printing on the cable itself,there is a x marking.if there is x marking,u got e right cable

the key word is "NULL modem" cable.

externally it looks the same as a serial cable which cant be used for dream up !!

I had the same problem first try the red stanby button this worked for me and safed using dream up
