You need a crossover cable (similar to ethernet cable) to connect pc to dbox directly. A straight ethernet cable will work connecting the 2 through a router. never used filezilla but should be similar ftp software to flashfxp so should work. You could also always try flashfxp. -

I tried flashwizardpro with a .img image but I get an error
But I had no luck in mulitboot either. I did successfully install a .flash.fw2 file but this is a different image. Any solutions?"backup.img" is not a firmware that can be installed in flash. It is too big for flash memory, try to install it in mulitboot mode
I did FTP the image on and tried to do it from the remote but it just keeps rebooting. Cannot do it on dreamplus ultra or DK1.1, on dreamplus there were 2 places on the TV menu to try and install but neither worked.Comment

You may need to use dreamup to flash with a null modem because the image already on may have been corruptedComment

Cheers, I have a PC with com port so can use it, but would prefer the laptop. I have a USB-serial cable but never got it working right.
I think part of the problem is trying to go from enigma to neturino and vice versa.Comment

With a usb serial you have to make sure the correct com port is set (ie com1) in the control panel. I have a port replicator with a serial port on it and when I originally installed it the com port was com4 and it works after I changed it to com1.
You can do this by rightclick on mycomputer-properties, choose hardware tab-device manager. Right click on your usb com and select properties, you can change the com port in 1 of the tabs named 'port settings'
hope this helpsComment
