new n2 ireland fix.

Hi all,

Can anyone help, finding it hard to get my head around installing the new n2 fix, have a dm 500c , need a spoonfed guide, tryed installing but on joy, still only have fta channels, have used flash fxp & filezilla but getting stuck where to put the 3 seperate files,
sorry in advance , all this is new to me,
no problems linking the 500c to laptop using crossover cable.

Hi alfagt. Have you the dk v1.1 image flashed on your box. This appears to be the image the fix works with.
download the fix to your desktop. Connect your box using filezilla. On the right side of the pane is your dreambox files. Scroll down to var. click on this.You will see var/bin. Copy the 3 file into the var/bin folder. Exit out and save your settings.
Connect box back up to tv.
Press blue or yellow button on remote. Whichever gets you the tuxbox command. go to the cam file v1.6. press ok. choose activate option and ok again. exit out and go to normal clear channel. I believe you have to wait a couple of minutes and the channels will come in.
Hope this is of help. tried it myself but have wrong image on my box ,so have to change the image and start again. Doing this from memory as I have been scouring for a newbie friendly guide for this.
