HDC-999 Stuck in menu screen

Hi,

I just got the tnhdc-999 box and it worked fine for awhile until recently, it got stuck at the first menu screen.
At first, I thought it was due to the remote control being faulty, but tried it at a friend's place and it worked with his.

Is there anyone who faced the same issue before? Kindly help me get out of this rut...

This is my first box and this is quite frustrating for me ...

Bro you can try this step.But not 100% workable.
1)Press menu from the remote.
2)Choose system.Go to Restore Factory Default.Password 000000
3)Choose channel search.Press right button from the remote.Press OK from remote and let e set search.
