all failing , you can use a normal network lead and a crosssover convertor on the end , maplins sell these or local comp fairs like bowlers handy if you already have a normal network lead and just need to convert it
Just in case this helps in the search. You may already have one and not know it. (happened to me before)
There are two common standards when looking at normal cat 5 cable. They are called (A) and (B). If you are looking at the cable ends you will notice that the wires each have their own colour. If you put both ends together on a normal cable they will be in the same order. (Straight Through) Let's say that the pins are numbered 1-8, and for the Crossover you will have pins 1,2,3, and 6 moved around to make 3,6,1,4,5,2,7,8. It's not that confusing if you notice that 4,5 and 7,8 never actually move.
