    DM500 DM500 or DM 500C

    Hi all
    just wondering are DM500, DM500C and DM 500plus are same? and can we use same image on the above?
    I found a romanian website with loads of images over there but has no idea which one ll suit? just dnt wana kill my lovly DB

      no m8 you can. nearly all 500 images are intended for satellite use then modified for cable and then the 500plus images can only be used on 500plus recievers as they're too big for a standard 500, as a 500plus has a lot more memory

          Thnx mate for the info
          would pls tell me about DCC 2.6
          I am using DCC2.6 to connect DB500c to my laptop.
          so far unsuccessfull. wondering am I using the right version or latest one is out there. I m getting almost crazy changing IP's of box with no joy.
          I was reading somewhere that telnet has changed their some settings, hence cnt connect to telnet via DCC2.6.
          is it true?
          pls advise
