Where to buy?

Quick question, where is the best place too buy a 500C? I know too avoid dvbmonkey.....just any other place that comes up when you search for Dreambox 500C?

got my black 500 from monkey works no probs and got it in 4 days!

Just seen many bad reports about monkey sending out broken boxes then not replying to email or fixing the boxes so I wont be using them........

Just bought a OEM DVB600c pvr from linuxsat I have heard good reports about them, and they are based in the uk.

I ordered it wednesday night so with a bit of luck it should come today

I do not want to be a spoil sport but this question has been discussed many many times, when I used the search facility I found at least 30 threads asking similar questions.
If people use the search facility it would save a lot of space here and I am sure the mods would be happy with this!
Not a rant or anything, just some helpful advice!

but as for a DM600pvr buy from satstore
if u get them anywhere else dere clones an the tuners are soldered in
originals have interchangeable tuners and all for a few quid more

This is not True Red Devil all DM600s and DVB600 from us have interchangable tuners

Props to Linuxsat.... Ordered min yesterday afternoon and it arrived 9AM this morning. Paid ?80 for it (inc ?6 for Special Delivery).

Yeah got my DVB600 next day really impressed with Linuxsat it does everything I want it to do.

Just one question are the internal parts on this box original dm600 parts and if so does this mean any dm600 image can be flashed onto it.

Its just that I have heard that some images can brick clone dreamboxes.

them soldered in, my first 600 was a clone and worked for 2 days then packed in
so i got an original and no probs since

@fermac stay away from the gemini images, the most popular one
seems to be pli for the 600 and im sure u will get plenty more advice

Yeah Im useing the pli image and find it really stable Im very impresed no glitching, this is the first dreambox I have had always had dboxes before
