Just what I've been looking for

Just used FlashFXP to transfer the unzipped Evocamd_2.17ctbz2 to tmp/.

Can't seem to get the blue install function working though. It just jumps to Sky Sports 1 and then I get a black screen. Any ideas? Do I have to rename the file or anything?

The "install" functionality handles the actual process of extracting the tbz2. It must be in /tmp unmolested from when you downloaded it.

how do i install this using a pli image..

The Pli team already have this on their download server. Use the Blue button > Software management > Downloads > Softcam > Evocamd 2.... It will install automatically once you download the file from their server.

If you ftp the tar file that DF has posted to the var/tmp on your dreambox and than see if you could do a manual install with the remote using the Blue button it should unpack and copy to the correct directory on your dreambox.

Hmm does having the digitalworldz image 2.0 prevent this from upgrading? I'm getting an error and cannot use this version (stays at 2.12)

Hi,
I uploaded this in the .var/tmp directory, but when I go in my Blue Panel and try to install it manually, ITS NOT THERE, i mean i can't see it the var/tmp directoy, i mean there is nothing there that I can select, am I doing something wrong?

Latest update of Evocamd emu.

Tested on ex-tw and AU fine.

Unzip and copy .tbz2 file to /tmp folder.

Install via manual install option in Blue button menu.

I don't seem to have this option in the blue button menu. I am using kaos v1.1 image with evocamd 2.12 built in. Only thing I can see in there of any relevance is the Tux commander.
