Help Please on DM500 c

Ok three days ago i was so excited that i was getting my DM500 C from China..Read and Read all tutorials and post's and Youtube stuff .. Well i did everything Flashing FTP keys and got new keys and changed them manualy ..Problem is after scanning for channels which i have a great list of there all locked get a dark screen with blue key on the left and a few poxy bbc,itv,some free virgin and that's it 80 quid for this please tell me i'm doing something wrong !!! Channel list looks good but i thought it was surpose to let you have these for free.....
Oh Im subscribed to virgin do i need to put my card in the reader at all ..have tried it has made no difference...So much for free sky and ~~~~

Please please please Help me

put it to the sky sports channel and leave it and see if it updates the keys if not post again

Is this common then ??? Got more channels on my free veiw not funny really..Will do hope it works.

Which image are you using? Which cam are you using?
Did you ftp k3ys and roms? Keys in /var/keys and roms in /var/scce
There should be no need to manually put in k3ys or to put your sub card into the box.

As others are saying you need to ftp the keys. Also try restarting evocamd, if your using dk image press and hold info button for this option, other images may be accessed by blue button, hope this helps

Hi today reflashed did everything again including keys and scce but i got know roms or are they the keys..
set them to 755 rebooted sky sports 1 press info got cam working but still only the odd channel ... all the rest are still locked i think as when you select them you see blu key on left then black screen......please help im stuck

I just spent 80 quid on all this stuff and it not working ..can someone talk me throw this iv reflashed again today but this box is going throw the window soon

wot image did u install

did u use dreamup

after start roms with blue button how long did u leave on sky sports 1

i think you have been reading to much
you have the image and all the channels are there so far so good
now all you need are the roms
stay away from the irish fix it's no use to anyone outside ireland
look for and install the nov fix
do not chmod anything to 755 or anything else
go to sky 1 and wait for channel to clear
good to go

Just like the post above said roms needed updating..Thank you all for you help..OH just one thing if i dare which folder does picons go in...kind regards Jon Jo
