    Help with dreamboxedit

    Hi all,
Could someone help with dreambox edit, I have been trying to sort out my channels on my dreambox 600pvr with dreambox edit.
I have connected my dreambox to my router and it works ok as I can ftp files either way, but when I try to upload my channels to dreambox edit, it keeps saying no services found. The path I have been using as I am sure the files are there is etc/enigma or etc/enigma/cable, but none of these work. Could someone please try to get me going, I could leave them but I wanted to sort them in to some sort of order, any help would be appreciated.

Install the software and launch it. Then click on the FTP icon, and enter a directory to save your channels and favorites. Then click on Receive Files from Dreambox, and after a few seconds, all your channels are listed in DreamboxEdit. In the rightmost part of the window, you can create and sort your TV and radio favorites, and add channels by dragging and dropping selections from the leftmost part to the center partfrom. Sorting is available as well, by any criteria you like.

To send your changes back to the Dreambox, click on the FTP icon, then click on send to Dreambox. After the upload is complete, click on reload settings on Dreambox, and all the changes will be visible on your Dreambox.

Thanks for the reply, but I have read all this in a tut I have. I cannot get anything when I have done all the above as you say, but dreamboxedit gives the error message no service files found. I have tried different paths but still no good, must be doing something wrong but cannot find out what.

Silly question, but have you selected "cable receiver" in the options tab?

Ignore me, you have already set the correct paths to the files.

        Does "Test IP Connection" work?

I'm not sure what is happening then mate. I dont own a 600 so i cant confirm if the paths are correct.

Can someone confirm the correct file paths for a 600?

Thanks everybody got it working, did not realise that there were two paths to get files, I was using the same paths for both and not different ones.

                      Thanks for all your help.
