DM600 My scan is finding transponders but no services??

OK, i have posted a previus thread but now the problem appears to be different. I purchased a DM600 cable, installed the PLI Jade 3 image, got the keys on it and cable.xml file and bingo - i got some FTA channels. I also got all the EPG info for all the other channels. I was advised to install Evocam 2.13, the following day when i plugged in my DM600, there were no FTA channels broadcasting(?). I then installed Evocam 2.13 and still no FTA or other channels. I also had lost the EPG on all channels and i suspected a tuner problem, but being brand new, thought it couldn't be.

My feed is direct and working as i also have a dbox2 which works perfectly. Am i missing something??

Then i completely installed PLI Jade 3 again, plus keys and cable.xml file, but exactly the same result. I am scanning 6952 which is my area, the DM600 finds 331 transponders but no services.

Any ideas - any help would be greatly appreciated. I have looked at other threads and done searches but cannot find anyone else with the same problem.

when you enter the 6952, on transponders does it say lock and sync ?

no it does not have the lock and sync crossed - how do i do that??

what area are you in ? and what are you entering for bioth FREQUENCY and SYM RATE ?

i am in 6952 area - but i am doing a automatic scan with bruteforce. When it does the search for the transponders, all the SNR/AGC/BER have values on them. Then at the end of the initial scan, it says "a valid transponder has been found" but BER is Nil however lock and sync are crossed.

if the lock and sym are crossed then it should be finding channels, if you press the RED button and then "All Services" is there anything there ?

sorry on jade3, ment to say if you press the down arrow then all services, do you get anything there

i am doing another scan now with another cables.xml file. The lock and sync files were crossed when it found a transponder - does that mean my tuner is OK and it is a software problem???

When you get the 'lock and sync' ticks, you are not selecting the 'only free' option are you? Also you are pressing 'Green' button to do start the scan when you get the lock?

yes i have ensured the only free option is deselected - i wish it was that easy?? I have a dbox2, if i copy over the services file into the dreambox, would that eliminate the need for a scan?? and would the dreambox be compatible with the services file (copied from dbox2). I could try but i don't want to damage the box if they are non-compatible files. Alternatively any other suggestions would be great.

try a manual scan instead of automatic scan, what happens then ?
