help needed

just bought new dreambox and im struggling to get channels , my old dbox could recieve all the sports and films so i know i can get them .
ive scanned and my planner says i have these channels but nothing comes on.
there is howerver a small key symbal on the left hand side (which my old box didnt have ).to show locked channels , can anyone help , cheers .

what image do you have on dreambox, i would recommend d.k1.1

mate , im not up on all this stuff , the first box i had just worked i didnt do anything to it , but this one is doin my head in , dont even know if ive done it right .

just looked and i dont have a null lead i have the rs lead. its doin my head in now ,haha .
i really need an idiot proof guide to doing this ,(i could get my sega mega drive started when i was a kid ) anyone got one?
someone did mention a secret menu on the dbox, is that true or bull?
