40 new/extra HD channels coming on VM

Had a VM guy round my house yesterday to replace my knackered V+ box. He advised me that cos S&y have a bunch of HD channels now (32 I think), VM have decided not to be out done and are signing up to 40 HD channels which we should be getting this year.

Anybody else heard about this....?

I hope so, BBC HD is simply not enough, and the on demand stuff has also become depleted. I really hope this is the case.

Yeah, I think this could be true, Although I have heard that they are switching off the Analogue Signals this year which will enable 100Mbt BB speeds, so I can't see the bandwidth for 40HD channels would be there TBH.

yep , mentioned it on another thread. for every analogue channel they cancel. they can get 4 digital hd channels. frees up the bandwith

when i signed up for the vip package b4 xmas they promised me the sports would be hd by feb.........so i wouldn't hold ur breath...
