Changing box from ex NTL (bromley) to ex TW Croydon/Purley

do I need to change anything? please help!!!

I'm using digital kaos image!

if taking box to different area you will have to rescan to update the channels
then restart your cam/emu
then keys should update to the new ones

OK. thank you. I was concerned because while I'm at home now there is no option for tw scan just brute force and ntl. but cool, thanks for the response. If I get into any difficulties at the other address I'll be sure to post

brute force should look for both ntl and tw

These "Automatic scan" settings are stored in the file /var/etc/cables.xml

Might be worth looking to update this file

ok. I'm at my friends place and while bruteforce was fine at mine. at his in TW croydon/purley way after I do the brute force scan the channels come up on the epg but no programmes are airing apart from bbc news/one etc (so Im thinking the free ones)

he's got a mac which to me is a pain in the ass. any ideas as to what I may have missed? I have restarted the box. I have restarted the box. I have restarted evo cam on SS2...

what emu are you using?

emu 2.12 .....

try 2.13 mate, you will prob have more luck with that in that area

can i upgrade through the control panel on the box?

yes mate, so long as the box is connected to the net it can pick up a new emu from the server

errrrrr well i do not have a dm500, somebody else is gonna have to take your forward... I think you have to press the blue button and go from there.. I know the search will show a thread or two on it...
