There are still a few places where you can get the files you need.Try googling bigmaq toolbar for one.If they all go though its going to be tough unless you are any good at machine coding -
as charlie says that sites ok , but if u keep up to date with a site like this and stick around theres always a way u will get the image u need . we cant stop members pm'ing one anotherany information provided is for educational/experimental purposes only.Comment

The same thing that usually happens: mass darknet exodus underground for a few months where information is largely scarce unless you're deeper in the scene. Then things go back to being largely what they were before the "shit hit the fan."
It's not like we haven't all observed this with the ISO scene, Bittorrent, Napster, etc.Comment

It's not about the image, it's the files in the image that allow the emu to auto update.
They are nagraroms, you can get them on your dreambox in /var/keys or /var/scce.
You'll need C++ programming skills and probably a few others...I have no idea how to do it so that's about as much help as I'm going to be
.
But if it happens, it happens. There's no point in worrying about it just now. Enjoy it while it lasts because it won't last forever.Comment

As a software developer by trade and having a passing interest in cryptography, a while back I looked at the last open source versions of mgcam (about 2004 vintage) which are probably still usable with a few tweaks. The big trick is having a fairly good knowledge of cryptography and mathematics, as well as perserverance. If people are interested I'll post up the source code I have as long as there are no problems with that devilfish.
Googling "Nagravision FAQ StuntGuy" will also net you a rather illuminating document on some of the inner workings of the Nagra1 technology, if a bit out dated.Comment

It makes you wonder why VM have not hit the boxes yet, with the way things are with most forums it would put a lot of d/dream boxes and the rest out of action for most ppl, i think they may be thinking if they hit the boxes they may loose a lot of ppl who pay for at least the min package to sky or more so to the new freesat imho.
