need help on dm 500 c

Hi there I have a dm 500c box and it been 3 year long already and I have lost some of the channel and all the new channel I dont have it . I wish to rescan but I do not have the password to enter setup ... I am looking for some kind soul to help me to update the set channel ..

hi all I have use DCC to try to connect my DM 500 c it able to connect but always said my pass word and user name incorrect ... how am I going to access the box ?

Only option for you

Reflash the box with dreamup and null modem cable in order to clear the password back to default, otherwise no other choice just live with it.

I have jus buy the null modem ... so jus flash the dm 500 c new image file will it clear the password or do I have to flash the frimware ?

GIVE UP liao put the null cable to the dm 500c and use dreamup cannot communicate no reaction at the dream up

I brought the aten usb to serial RS-232 converter

Dont buy the wrong cable. Because there is a null cable in the market too.

hi traitor do u have the null modem that I can borrow for awhile I can bring my laptop over to ur place to flash. As mine null cable don't work at all

That Aten one is only a converter. You still need the above RS232 Null Modem Cable
Otherwise how do you do the connection?

By the way, I do not have the above and my computer recently spoilt.
