Getting only FTA..tried all what i read...please help

Hi,
I have got my dm500c today, i tried all what i read but i am getting only bbc 1,2,3 and the rest is not playing. Managed to get all the channels but unfortunately only fta playing. please help me, its my 1st attempt to make it work ..

are you in London? I have to manually enter frequencies to get my channels, try downloading a CDF file for your area

try using evocam 2.13 - go to sky spor*s 1 and press and hold the info button - this should start evocam 2.13 and that should do it. If not, you may need to install evocam 2.13 from the software update menu, your dreambox would need to be connected to the internet for this.
Alternatively, have you got the latest K*ys on there?

yes, i have got the magic files. Copied keys into var/keys & scce in var/scce.

where do go to check if i have got the cam? and how do i do to get the box connected to the net to download the cam? Please help.

did you try his suggestion of holding down the info button and starting the evocam, all you need to get download from internet is a ethernet cable into your router

after holding info and starting evocamd 2.12...still no luck

i attached dm500 to router and downloaded evocam 2.13..still no luck; even 2.14 is bring any image.

i have done a bruteforce scan, getting all channels but only fta playing..

please help?

if you started evocam on skysports 1 and it didnt open the channel after a few mins, i woukld recheck the files you ftp over and make sure you didnt miss any and make sure you used the most recent ones

hi you should also schmod your files to 755.

Thanks to all for your help, got it working. Does anyone know how to sort the channels in dm5000c?

use 'dreamboxedit' to sort out your favourite listing, you will need to type your dreambox i.p into dreamboxedit.
