    What is the best reliable box to buy

    Dear All,


    I am considering of upgrading my DM500c to later/better version. Can someone advise me what is the best and relaible box on the market.

    Most improtantly is it easy to program?

    depends what your budget is...
    do you want one with pvr functions like internal hdd
    or
    high defention box
    or
    single or twin tuner
    and if they change to a new encyption n1 to n3 if it happends or not who knows

      Would definitely get a Dreambox 600c from a good source.
      Have full ver Ross-Tech Vag Com.

        I agree the 600 is a great box, but as more and more HD channels becoem available, and I assume you have an HD ready TV. I would suggest you look to buy a DM800 which will give you the HD functionanlity.

          Gotta be kryptview just for watching bog standard tv.
          Checkout the RED stickies massive amount of info and effort been put into them.

              HI i,m all new to this game and i,m about to take the plunge.I'm hooked on the idear of getting the Eurovox ex7000 hd box .My mummy has kryptbox(shes bad) and its ace.But i,m also now stuck on which box to get, but what does nag3 mean???

                Why not?it was the first to do nag2,any box is more than capable providing a card has been dumped.

                  With a linux box you will possibly be able to get a fix. Other boxes just seem to get chucked out and a new one comes on board again. Starview,eurovox earlier models etc. Hopefully Support will stay, but thinking ahead is the name of the game now.

                    Thats what the Kryptview lads done on the last change.......planned ahead. However having an ethernet port is a major advantage for linux based boxes.
