Dm800hd cannot switch on after using dreamup.

I tried flashing the box with dreamup but now the box can't even on. anyone knows how to fix the box i don't mind paying to have it check out as it is too troublesome for me to send it back to china from singapore. Please pm me. Thank you.

i tried that it wouldn't work. The only lights are the lights at the Ethernet port.

Power ON and press the button on the front. Do make sure that you have an ethernet cable attached. Your panel will display a IP address. Just go over to your PC and open up the URL which you have recorded and you will present a screen. Just download a new .nfi file over and it will rebuilt a new firmware. I can't put my fingers why did you use DreamUp in the first place. Did you have the chance to read http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...browser-98867/. This would get you working again. Cheers

like i mentioned i have tried but there is no display on THE LCD PANEL. Can't even turn on the set at all after using dreamup. The LCD panel is BLANK. But there is light shown at the ethernet port. I have opened up the set but everything is in place. I used dreamup cause i had no ca found error and wanted to flash it as i couldn't flash it using the browser.

You didn't mentioned anything about no CA found in your beginning message. If DM800 showing No CA Error is NOT hardware fault, but simply a software problem. No CA Error is caused by the 2nd stage bootloader becoming corrupted. I have done the 2nd stage repair before and all you need to do is to reflash it with this image first with DreamUp and this will solve your issue. SIM2-DM800-SE-SSL84.

i can't even POWER ON THE SET. I REPEAT THE SET CANNOT BE POWERED ON. I CANNOT FLASH IT I CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO IT. IT SIMPLY CANNOT BE POWERED ON. I have all the images but i can't POWER ON THE SET. I know it was a SOFTWARE PROBLEM THAT WAS WHY I WANTED TO USE DREAMUP TO FLASH IT AS I CANNOT FLASH IT VIA WEB BROWSER. THE PROBLEM NOW IS THAT AFTER CONNECTING IT VIA DREAMUP THE SET DIED. THERE IS NO DISPLAY ON THE LCD OF THE DREAMBOX AT ALL.

I have also a box when i power up, it would not boot up but the fan inside is running and the ethernet port light blinking. Maybe u could try to remove
all cables from box and plug in just the power supply only. Try to plug the power supply cord in and out a few times as this method works for me.
