DM600 Dreambox 600c pvr keeps restarting

HI,
hope this makes sense. my box keeps shutting down and restarting after working fine for months. I had the jade image on, so i tried CLI image to see if the problem was with the image.After messing about a bit I have found that the box is only shutting down/restarting if I am watching a channel/or scanning for channels after reflashing the box.i.e. i put new image on without my service file on the box will stay on, but when i do a scan for channels the box will shut down or restart.Any ideas?

going to remove tuner and clean. if that dont work take of the cover and cool tuner with a fan to see if its overheating

Try flashing another image or different image, images get corrupted very easily without having to do anything silly or out of the ordinary. Loading plugins etc always seems to be a corrupt maker, failing that I would then look to the power supply rather that the Tuner.

jbvid, thanx for reply. I have put my 500c downstairs on the 600c power supply and it works fine. I have also tried another 2 different images now and it still keeps restarting using the 500c power supply upstairs. Maybe not a tuner problem, but definitely a temp issue. Put a room fan blowing on it and it worked fine and now I have a pc case fan sitting on top of dreambox attached to a 12v supply and it aint restarted in 2 hours

Could be the power supply dm500 doesn't need as much amps as the 600 I am guessing has a hdd which will need more amps for the hdd. Clone power supplies are crap.

I have tried 3 psu's and it was the same with all of them. Maybe try running it without the hard drive in and see what happens. can you recommend a new psu for it?
