500C no display whenever remote control is pressed

Hi,

I have a problem with my dreambox 500c. The box is able to boot up and would be working normally until I changed channel. Whenever the remote control is used to change channel, my 500c would go black screen ( no audio and video ). However, the green LED is still responsive whenever i use the remote control. I've tried reflashing it, but the problem still persist. May I know if there are any alternative solutions? Thanks!

Try unscrewing the cover and securely push the 2 ribbons back on tight worked for me on a few occasions . .................Paul
