Hdc-600. Is it worth to buy? Can be tracked? World Cup will be in hd or sd format?
the boss guarantee can watch one year. But afraid of maybe 2-3 months, will stop service.

suggest u get the DreamBox DM800, DM800se or Q5 for reliability.
most of their boxes marketed 4 months ago r now bricked. eg MVHD, FYHD TNHD etc.

DM800 and DM800se hv been patched since 10th Oct2013. pls dont bother to search or post or ask if u r looking for free TV.
Personally, Dm800, 800se is still usable in N4 era that is coming soon.
Bcos N3 had been cracked. We are now at the tail wind of N3 transmission.

As FIFA is approaching nearer, many new boxes are emerging in the market confusing the consumers.
The main qns is, seller claims its free. I highly doubt so unless the profit is enough to cover the cost.

DM800HD cant watch WC2014 & BPL??? Then I really dunno what box I'm using. Was watching the whole of 13/14 BPL season on my 800hd & 800se.

What I'm about to say may offend some trader but just my 2 cents.

Those box (e.g: FYHD, MVHD, TNHD & etc) are all out to make $$$. They will promise buyer that their box do not require monthly subscription for now but for how long? I really don't know.

To what I know, these box are made by the same group of people selling card box a few years back. They promised the card will autoroll & no expiry date but in the end??? User have to buy new card every 3-6 months at a unreasonable price.

Those who have been here long enough will know if not for some of the master here who came out with cardless solution, many people will still be paying these chinese $$$ every 3-6 months. Now they are making a comeback with the WC2014 & ending of N1.

What I'm trying to say is, you will be at their mercy once you buy the box. What if they want to charge you $30/mth in order to continue to watch & their box are not like dreambox whereby you can work around the firmware with whatever softcam. You have to go back to them as no one here can help as the firmware they are using are not opensource firmware. They are simply waiting to have enough boxes in the market before they start charging those user.

Moving forward, there will be no such thing like no monthly subscription. You will need to subscibe to a server for the refreshing of keys in order to watch as this is the only option for now. Unless the seller tell you upfront how much are they charging per month after the trial or complimentary period. You have the option to buy or not to buy if you find the rate is not reasonable. At least you have a choice. Those box that promise no monthly, you do not have the choice as you already gotten the box.

Thats all I have to say & you have been warn. The choice is ultimately yours.

Side track...

I remember someone here posted a link & strongly recoimend a box that claim to be the most powerful as well as will dominate sg market when N3 arrive.

HD channels have turn N3 for months now. Can any user of this box tell me what happen now? Many of the user of this box can only watch the SD channels now since they have not turn N3. So what happen to the what they claim to be the most powerful as well as will dominate the sg market theory?

My take is never trust 100% of what the chinese promise.

Trust yr good old DM800 and DM800se. They r still the best so far. Dont throw them away, if u dont want them,
you can post online and give it to Bros here who knows how to patch it.

It is a simple fix and u can keep both if u do it by yourself. Google up. Post if u have any difficulties as we all here learn and share knowledge. Get yourself a null modem cable and dreamup program for that error.

I have tried many times with null cable. Likely hardware issue.
