A bit unusual for it to like that. Hope its nothing more serious than another flash. Hope it works out ok. Lets know.

i manage to get backk into box using flash pro wiz i reflashed the box not sure if i removed the previous one i selected install or remove firmware in mutiboot it ask if i want to install boot set up somthing i did that than went to other option install firware to flash memory it did it said it was sucesssful plug in box to tv was working fine but without the main channels but i did not add keys yet so switched off added keys switch back on and its was frozen again on dk screen now the queston im asking i wanted to delete the old image before instaling the new one i assumed this was the correct thing to do but i dont think i did that correctly by hitting that multiboot button on flashwaizard and now i cant quite figure out whats the best thing to do do at the moment would like to delete the old image properly and start again but not sure how any ideas on the correct thing to do ?

Dont use multiboot, it for dreamboxes with hard drives, usb,CF..like the dm7000s. Just install into the flash. You will have to go back in and change your network settings, each time you flash. You should be ok flashing over the other image. All else fails you will have to use dream up with the null modem cable. If that flashes ok you should be ok. There is a erase flash image you could use to clean out the flash.

Why wont dreamup work its fool proof connect nul modem click dreamup start it disconnect box when prompted and let it run its coarse it takes a longer amount of time compared to flashwizard
