    new to cable - help needed

    Hi all, Thinking of buying the Dreambox800 HD Sat, and then purchasing a cable tuner, As I am many who are thinking of alternatives due to the upgrade from Sky so looking for a route out as I have cable!

    What will I need to do/know once ive got the the two items? like information on how to set box up, insert sub, update channels etc, and anything else like that.. as I know nothing at the moment.

    New to cable as I have been on the sat for a couple of years so sorry for the noob questions!

    Also how is the bouqets updated etc.

      To be honest not sure what type of receiver you had on the satellite side but if you would have had a Dreambox your questions would already be answered, I am afraid it is against the Forum Rules to discuss anything to do with a so called 'Sub' but anything else regards the box no problem.

      Pretty much all the Guides that are on the satellite side regards setting up also work for Cable apart from the channels and thats about it.
