DM500 Got lots of channels but lots missing

Hi,
Can anyone help me with this one - I lost all channels and eventually after hours of fiddling I re-flashed the box with DW image then ftp'd in the keys and roms. I rescanned using all options including brute force. That got me alot of channels - plenty of encrypted ones - some movies, sports etc but I still have lots missing - even free to air ones like channel 4.
I've tried the manual scan too but no luck. Any idea why I dont get ALL the channels I had before?

Is your box connected via cable splitter if so then remove the splitter so your is connected directly to your cable and do Bruteforce. Have you checked all your cable connections are secure? Is it possible you have low signal?

Thanks so far - no joy, dont have a splitter and all connections are sturdy and secure, cable only about 1 meter from wall to box.
I've had all the channels until last week - they always scanned in no problem.
I've now re-flashed with the digital kaos image - again putting the keys and roms in the correct place but still plenty of the encrypted channels but alot of them still missing - ITV, Channel4, Comedy Central etc.
Also strange that I have comedy central +1 but not the actual comedy central itself!?!??
Any ideas? Starting to loose the will to live.

You need to get a xml services file for you area and ftp it back into your box.

hi guys - got new services and bouquets files for my area and added them in - reloaded channels, rebooted, re-scanned.

i've now got all channels in my services list and can see program information but still not giving me the channels.

Any ideas??
