DM500 only getting fta channels

Please help. Just got my 500c which was already flashed with image dk 1.1. I followed the spoonfed guide. Transfered keys etc on to box and scanned. Box found all the channels but i can only view fta. Any ideas ?

go to sky spor*s 1 and press and hold the info button to start evocamd

I know this may sound obvious but make sure "free channels only" is unchecked on the scan page.

Also follow the noobs guide properly and don't use the var_init file, use var.

Look on these forums for the newer ROMS to put into the scee folder, they're somewhere here.

I follow the spoonfed guide for newbies and downloaded the files as per the guide. But the keys it directs you to are out of date, so i downloaded the nagrarom auto update fix which solved my problem.

i am having the exact same problems as tonycarter.
when using the nagrarom update, where did you get it from and is there a tutorial telling where to install it. and i assume the dreambox needs to be net connected for this to work-yes/no?

no intenet connection to the box needed. you just need to be able to ftp into the box, which u should know since u've used the guide.
