DM500C - Picture looks discoloured (Slightly Dark)

I've just compiled Neutrino from cvs for the DM500C and it's working fine apart from looking slightly dark. Does anybody know what might need changing to fix this problem.

Also the dm500 remote isn't mapped to volume up and down, does anybody know how I would go about changing it.
