    Cables.xml file

    Hello

Can anyone help me please, how and where do we get the latest up to date cables.xml file from for my image? i'm running the smirnoff open pli image but when i scan i only seem to find some 330 channels and not all so i'm assuming that my cables.xml file isn't up to date or fully complete? can any one offer any help, i'm guttered as i've got everything else fully working and this is the last stumbling block really, appreciate any comments, thoughts or feedback.

What's in a cables.xml file, is this something i can update myself?

    Thanks
    Anth

I thought if I done a scan with all 000 in net id and selected provider VM on tuner config or cable uk the cable.xml would automatically be installed and updated by auto boquets maker when I selected correct net id or have I got it totally wrong.?

        thanks for any feedback DIGICON.

Well this is interesting as digicon your file has helped me get passed 330 channels today, hurray!! But I've still got some missing, which leads me to think it would be good if I could combine the two cables.xml files I've got, I've replaced the cables.xml file in the var/etc folder and the etc/tuxbox via FTP to the box, then rebooted the box and rescanned and that's how I've got more channels, I'm running auto bouquets now to see if that adds the missing channels.

Auto bouquets just balls everything up, loads of not found in SID / PAT etc, rescanning channels again as that worked with most of them last time, still puzzled I am....... Any ideas anyone??

Digicon do you have ssp 1hd and ssp 2hd??

            Cheers

              Cables.xml file

If anyone's reading this it looks like I've been looking in the wrong local area (on border with two) on auto bouquet, once I picked the right one I got all channels, woo-hoo!!
