    Cable Tuner

    Hello

    Can anyone answer this, on my dm800 cable tuner the is a f style connection in then another which looks like an ordinary ariel socket, is that and output i.e could I watch a channel upstairs via ordinary coax cable?

    I am not sure if that box has a loop through tuner I know the DM800 HD SE has not on the sat side possibly the best person to ask DIGICON who is very knowledgeable on a majority of sat and cable boxes.

      The Output will just output exactly what is fed through the Input so if you put a Cable feed in then the output sends the cable frequency's out, So if you wanted to feed another TV upstairs with cable you would need another suitably equipped Cable receiver.

        Any one point me in the direction of backing up the image on my box please?

          If the Image you are already using does not have a backup feature in either the main menu or Plugins then TSpanel can make a backup for you and another option would be DCC dreambox control centre this also has an option to do a backup of your current image
