yes fix works fine with 500c. i could not get hypercam to work by manually inputting with ftp, however i was able to connect it to internet and got it to work that way.

No Cork city is CHORUS cable N1 use, Nov 2008 fix in stikkies, I think keys
are out of date, check RapidShare for up-to-date keys
Cork county is Chorus-T (mmds) also N1, but you need DM500-T box,
I hope his box is not crossing the pond to be flashed. If he can't manage
it himself there are plenty of DK members in Cork to help him out.
If he is on CHORUS-T (mmds) aeriel, I would swop a EUROVOX-TX, or a
DIGIVOX-T, brand new in the box; I could flash & chl. sort them for him,no
matter how old his DM500-C is. The older ones are gen. boxes. the newer
one's are clones, but they are OK,they take N2 fix no problem. I'll even pay
        postage. I'm on N*L eire (N2).

Hi Jfish, don't ask me how i tracked this forum down ! It's Cork city the box is in btw.
Transponder search isn't picking up any channels on search but RTE1 is still there.
Can someone direct me to a DK member from Cork who might be more familiar with this issue please ? Dreamt about the bloody thing an'all last nite
          !! ;-)

hopefully a fellow member in your area will be able to help you out, as not too up to scratch with the Irish cable setup.

Flash with dreamup and null modem cable, you will have to ftp magic files to it! read the stickies first and then you will get all the help you need, the dk image already includes the chxxus cable search freqs.
You are better off to learn how to do it in case they cut off N1 stream, cause you will have to make other changes then!
                Whatever!!

You dreamt about a dream, you'll have to keep a lid on that. It could lead
to infinity. You dream about a dream;then dream about dreaming about a
dream, etc, etc, etc. THERE would be no end to the sentence.
