Sorry Newbie Question

Hi Guys

I have just received my DB500c. in my house i have a small white NTL box next to my tele where my real VM box is pluged in. On the white box i have a spare COAX port. Do i plug my DB into this and leave my Virgin box running? Swap the scarts

Or use a splitter?

Sorry if this is a dumb question just want to do it right

can plug both in, has they come off the same feed,
but why would you want both, the 500 will have all channels

I thought if you dont keep the old box pluged in virgin might get suspicious because you have unpluged your box?

Or am i wrong?

remove your virgin box, and plug feed you took out of your vergin box into your dm500c...be sure to relash unit with DK image!!..job done

I still keep my VM box connected by a splitter for two reasons.

1. I am paranoid and think it might keep VM haooy if they can see a VM box connected.

2. My GF just simply couldnt function without catch up tv

To be fair i used the catch up for topgear this week.
