can't wait to try it out.

ive been using this image a few weeks now.and would just like to say how great it is.you guys have done excellent job..ive updated through the box/internet to 1.1 and played about with the plugins/addons.but i cant download any games as it tells me that url is not found.why is this?

The addons server is still there and working.

Try rebooting the box using the 'reboot now' option in the shutdown menu and see if that works.

I cannot for the life of me get it to record, either direct to PC or with Ngrab?

Is there an option to start recording?

You can set a timer or hold down GREEN until you see the DVR controls on the infobar then press RADIO to start recording. Press TV to stop recording.

the black box

Devilfish i just cannot get this black box to go mate i do same with dm 500 and dvb's and they work fine it's driving me nuts mate

If you have a working image on another box, take a backup of it and flash it to the blackbox. Remember if you're flashing a backup image via dreamup then you select NO when it asks you if you want to flash erase after flash. If you select YES you will loose all your backed up stuff and it will be like flashing a raw image without any services/bouquets and key files.

Slight issue when watching on the 16/9 TV. It seems to stretch a 4/3 broadcast rather than drawing black bars doen the side. Is this fixed in v1.1?

Widescreen is fine on my dreambox, are you sure it's not a tv setting?

This setting is standard across all images, it's not altered.

Just install the DK image. moving from DW2.

I backed up my services as instructed and restored them on DK.

I get all my channels, but every one of my bouquets is listed as 'Removed Service'.

Am I doing something wrong, any advice on how I can get them back?

Tried both of those with no luck.

Odd that it says 'Removed service' as a bouquet folder isn't really a service is it? All the folders are there with those names, but sadly all are empty.

Not looking forward to sorting them all again!
