Dreambox talking to me

I have just set up my DB500c thanks to this site!

But my dreambox is talking to me when the actors go quite!

For example.."the lady stands behind the desk"

I have looked through the settings how do i turn this off!!

Press the audio button on the remote and change to a different audio stream.

Press audio button, then select english and save. Now your box should stop talking to you.

you will note the sometimes (most times i reckon) one of the audio stream is called NAR this stands for Narration and is the 'talking' one...

i understand you can get the dreambox to automatically use the regular english audio streams (obiviously this doesn't help when the narration channel is also called 'english') - however even when the narration channel is called 'nar' it never automatically selects the english channel

what am i doing wrong?

most usually remember your last preference - rather than by default as different channels swap them over

When mine does that I press audio and change the english to the other english ??? Seems to work for me

This has been driving me crazy for ages thought I was going mad and the voices were in my head many thanks
