DM800 HD SE problem please any help much appreciated

Sorry in advanced if i am not in the wrong section im a newbie .

My dm800 se hd is freezing when i turn it on it is just saying booting .

Any help much appreciated .

Do a reflash and see if that sorts it.

Thanks for the reply im having trouble reflashing the box is there a tutorial on how to do it ?
My problem is that when i d/l dream up i was pasting it in it was saying error : cant find any com ports - aborting any ideas?

Tried the internet browser method the problem was it was not downloading fully it was getting half way it went into stand by

Tried differnt browsers same problem unfortunatly when i type ip address of box in it just says page cannot be obtained.

Try a null modem cable and dreamup on desktop pc or a usb to null modem on laptop.

Andy , I flashed the box and was getting no ca drivers how do i get the drivers any ideas ?

If this is one of the later Rev D6 800SE receivers then to flash with No CA Error you need a USB to Mini USB cable as the RS232 port was replaced with a USB type.

Also you should be able to flash this Via WebIF with a similar image to what is already installed, can you remember what Bootloader was installed on the initial flash such as 84a,84b etc...

I think i know why..... Try changing your channel to the Free to Air ones..... Your startup channel is in N3 so it will remain at booting
