Hi I have just bought a dreambox 500c and i cant seem to get it working its the new black box with the philips turner i am trying to scan for service but no joy can someone help me set this up please its getting frustrating.

we need to know what you have done so far.. have you FTP'ed the roms to the box, which emu are you using, what area are you in?

what image is installed? is the feed live? any other boxes on the line working ok?

my virgin box is working i just cant seem to pick up any transponders when i scan

Try a manual scan, eneter area code, if this is done right then it should say LOCKED before you scan ...

If you are expecting to just plug your box in your box and get everything than you are going to be disappointed. Why don't you start with the RED stickies and see how you get on with your box.
