Hi Guys

i have a clone 500 box is it best for me to turn it off everynight when asleep?

Plus is it possible for me to delete a channel that i have tried to scan for it but was unsuccessful but is on my channel list (Sky box office)

HI, I always turn mine off every night. to delete a channel press ok button, then the menu button and you can do it from there, If you scan again the channel will come back though

I used to turn 500 off every night, but havent done so for couple of months now and have no problems, make sure unit is well ventilated though!
If in closed cabinet, would advise to power down!

Is it normal that when my dreambox 500s is in standby, still generates heat?

I have never vturned any of my boxes off during the night and all cones...no problems.
