New Image Question???

Hello,
Installation of Image using telnet, I've set up mount folder and sent backupimage file using ftp to /tmp folder.

My question is before flashing using telnet. Does this backup Image file need any changes to its attributes before flashing to box.

What do the attributes do?

u have to rename the img for the manual update to find it . not sure wot the name is now at work but when u look for the image in manual download it tells u wot to change it to

edit l rename the backup in temp to root.cramfs and install from the controls on the box

l know your telneting the thing , just l find it easy to ftp straight to temp and use the remote controls
