DM500 How to get Chelsea Tv?

Since the new flash fix ive noticed chelsea tv isnt there, in on n*l in dublin does anybody know how i can get it back or is it gone for good from the boxes?

I thought Chelsea TV is only available to sly users and not cable.

It was on the box before the security upgrade, after the fix was released it doesnt show up on any of my automatic scans

not sure if it has moved to only sly since, guess its possible

After more searches it eventually showed up, with a problem though

its listed under a different channel name (shows chelsea tv listings for the whole day though) and its just a black screen on the channel

Any way to fix?

Which box you using ,are you cable or aeriel

I flashed my mates TheBox Super and he gets VH2 and other stuff I dont... how is that...

I never thought different boxes made a difference to what you get or dont get

If you're using D.K.1.1 image, set location N*L cable.ie
Scan--BQT-update fast scan or try Brute Force
You could P.M. tinnycan for freq. & manual scan.
If you're using older image that could be a problem

If using DK1.1 or PLI-jade ,Set my Location should sort your problem.
Usually comes up "no chls found", but that's fine. When you go to
"Service Search" page correct Prov. I.D. will be displayed. Make sure
correct Sym.Rate, set to Fast Scan, Bouquet to Update, turn auto-scan off If you know 1st transponder value enter in freq. line & start scan.
In Ireland most areas will have 2 listings in "Set my location"
e.g. Waterford1 & Waterford2, but doesn't tell you which is cable or whichis MMDS.. You have to try No.1 then scan ,if you're missing chls. then tryNo.2 and re-scan. Always look in ALL SERVICES after a scan to see if any new chls. have been found.
Sometimes a weak signal will scan 12 T.P.'s but not pick up last T.P.
D-box will pick up any chl. that STVU3 picks up on scan.
If you are using older image on d-box you should really flash new image.

I flashed a few images over the last year or so... have DK1.1 at the moment, I think my tuner may be going or something because it finishes scans with 1.30 mins left to go and stuff maybe missing out on a few transponders

No biggy anyhow.. at least I get the majority

Sorry, Sirius, I assumed you were fully conversant with linux. I'm no
expert myself, I've been flashing cable-tuners for about 2 years. The last
6 months I've been doing linux & I'm OK loading images & FTP files, but
when Paul(plasterer) Satsmo, & afew others start going into nerve-centre
of linux boxes, I move on.
I would say you're doing everything right, once location is correct. I set up
4 d-boxes yesterday, 3 were fine, 1 would not scan. So I just backed-up
services xml. & bouquets xml. from working box to desktop. Then just
copied both files to var/tuxbox/config/zapit.
Using dream
Services xml --go to ;var/tuxbox/config/enigma
Bouquets xml ---var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable
There is 1 rogue bouquet file that goes in with services files.
A mate has a loan of my Dream500 while I fix his d-box, so I can't
check name of this file. Having sorted your bouquets look in tuxbox
folders to check this
Using older images scan would miss some chls, but with DK1.1 &
correct location this problem has been eliminated.
I presume you have tried bruteforce UK scan. Keep at it & you will sort it out.
