    DM500 Switching Satellite for Cable Tuner

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to replace the tuner in a satellite dreambox and replace it with a cable tuner, i tried it but now i'm not seeing the option in menu to scan for channels or satellites

      saying what box you have might help mate....is it a DM600, 7020, 7025, 800 or 8000??

              The tuners on the dm500 are fixed so you cannot change the tuner.

                  would be better to sell oyur boxo n ebay and buy a new dm500c
                  Setup: 2x Dreambox 800HD | 3x Dm500S on Motorised dish Setup
