Only getting FTA channels

Hi everybody,my 500c suddenly started to only recieve FTA channels a week ago,i put the fix on in January and all was well until last week.I have reflashed my box and tried the fix again and checked all leads,when i scan it finds all channels but will only show the freeview ones.Any ideas what is wrong?my young daughter likes to play with the remote so could she have deleted a file maybe?

this may sound silly but is your cam turned on
press the info button for 3 sec select evocam press ok

Have you updated your keys?

Search for and install Hacksat plugin. It will update your keys from the yellow button menu.

Still no joy, i have changed keys, done the new fix(nag 7) ,reflashed,cant think of anything else! I have evocamd 2.12 running and DK 1.1 image on.HELPPPPPPP!

where did you put the keys? should go in both var/keys and var/scce folders
also chhmod to 755 by rightclicking on file and properties (using ftp software)

Which FTP software your using?

On most you can right click on the folder you need to chmod and select properties and change the permission on either file or folder. In this case you would change the CHMOD of folders keys and scce in the /var/ directory to 755.

Then right click on the folders listed above, choose "Attributes (CHMOD) Ctl+0" a box should pop up. If you look at the bottom of that box should be some numbers. Change those to 755 if they're not already.

Cheers guys its back on after 2 days of trying,i down loaded keys again and it worked,i must have had a corrupt file on the 1st key down load! Thanks!

glad you got it sorted mate, it might be a good idea to copy the working image and also the whole keys and scce folders to your pc so if something goes wrong and you have to do a new flash you can reflash with the working image or if you flash a new image you can transfer the keys and scce folders over too

Hi Lads, i have dw image installed.. tried new image dk1.1... box hanging up wont boot.. went back to dw image FTA coming in and all epg there.. any fix for this image??? tried putting in hypercam etc no use.. Thanks
