I tried to flash v1 image on to my 500c box, box now seems to be locked, there is no image, can,t turn on/off, have i killed the box, this is the first time i have tried to flash a box as i am a novice at these things, give me the bad news guys.

no it's not dead ....You need to download a program called dreamup and get hold of a null modem cable and flash it this way to get the box working again
