DM500 HELP - cant connect to dreambox

Hi,

I was trying to flash a dm500c using Flash Wizard Pro but was taking a while so decided to stop it unplug it all to start again.

Now when I plug the box in nothing comes on screen is completely froze cant get it to do anything. When trying to connect to the box its saying to check the ip address.

Looked at the ip address as far as im aware im using the correct ip address but cant get anything on screen to check it 100%.

Is there any way to take the box back to original settings or wipe everything off it?

Or any other suggestions to get this sorted will be great.

Hi,

Have tried to flash by dream up as well now and still not working.

The box does not want to connect - seems as if the box has frozen.

Any ideas how can get around this?

dm500s wont even connect to rs 232

sometimes if the process of downloading the image using the flashwizardPro isn't finished or is interrupted, the box won't work or start. So when you switch the box on it reboots constantly. The only way to reload the image is using dreamup, you need to press start on the dreamup program at the exact time when the light comes on (before the boot comes on in the box). I had to try it several times before the image starts downloading.
