Does this image have old tuner driver??? reasd through the thread and wiiman asked but no replies so hoping for answer in its own thread.

no there is only one tuner driver in this image. if your box isnt working with the newer driver, I'd say its your box thats faulty. yeh i read its always been like that but i think thats where the problem lies. I dont want to be bringing another image out with a different driver either, look much to keep track off. sorry

I think its area related though as, I have a box and the in-laws have one too, and both react the same with the newer versions of the tuner driver. if you scan with new tuner driver active then it finds no channels, and if you scan with the old driver then change to the new one then I get the ''service could not be found'' error message on all channels. I just find it hard to believe both boxes turned up with the exactly the same problem.

Mines scans fine with the newer driver its when I leave it on and if there a break in the signal the box hangs. Doesnt do it with old driver it seems to recover ok. I know mine to be a genuine box aswell as I got it froma dream approved shop.

Are you using the new Kaos1.0 image ?

It only has the new tuner driver in it

nope dw 2.0 with some cough files added

Will do a full backup of current image then have a try with Kaos one to see if I get the freezing like I used to with new tuner on DW.
