Right guys i dont know if im allowed to speak about this as it has the word satellite init, its not about satelliteits to do with cable but i will be mentioning the word satellite ok.
Right so here goes.
I've recently moved house into a non cable area, now my previous house was in a cable area and we had broadband with virgin, so now that we moved into our new house (non-cable area) there was no cable signal coming into the new house so i phoned virgin media and now i have signed up for the broadband (worldwide services)and the phone package.
So what happens is apparantly virgin send a signal down the bt phoneline and that allows me to get broadband as they send me a asdl and splitter or something, well anyway my question is will i be able to use my dm500c in the house, there is a satellite dish but i dont want to use a dm500s, so isit possible to use the dm500c with the signal from the phoneline as there is no coaxial cable but i was thinking if i could use the splitter fromthe asdl could i get a signal from putting a lead from the wireless (from the asdl to wireless router is what i mean) to the ethernet plug in the dreambox will that pick up a signal on the dm500c??? or is there another way anyone can think of that i can get the dreambox working???
