    DM600 Overheating cpu possible cause

Posted awhile back about my dm600c shutting down and rebooting .after sticking a pc case fan on the top of the box the problem has stopped. I first tried blowing cold air on open box with a room fan and this also cured the problem.
I think I may have possibly ~~~~ed the cpu as when I put my hard drive in the ribbon cable was under the the hard drive laying across, or near the top of the cpu. What I maybe should have done is lay it on the top the hard drive. Hope this helps some1 else
