If you can connet your box to a PC then have a look for DreamBoxEdit in the downloads. Loads easier than playing with the remote

Or try the new DW Neutrino image , scans in under 3min and sorts
channels automatically into same order as virgin

i dont wanna hijack the thread, but im having problems with dreambox edit , ive got a d500c.
when you edit the bouquets what should i select.(receive files from dreambox or send files to dreambox)

and once ive finished setting up the bouquets what should i do? as ive set up my bouquets list twice now, and i save it to my desktop but when i load it nothing shows up in my lists pn my d500c

i know im doing something wrong, on something very simple. could you guys help me out as ive not seen any guides about.

Reloading Services and Bouquets after transferring (using Enigma/Gemini)

Once you have transfered your backed up services and bouquets to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma, follow these instructions.

To reload services...

Open web browser and paste the following command into the address bar:

http://192.168.xxx.xxx/cgi-bin/reloadSettings

(replace x with your own ip address)

To reload bouquets...

Open web browser and paste the following command into the address bar:

http://192.168.xxx.xxx/cgi-bin/reloadUserBouquets

If you're using the Digital Kaos image, you can also reload the channels using the 'ReloadChannels' option in the User Features menu.

im using a dk image and i wanna set up my bouquets with dreamboxedit.
wot should i select on the opening screen receive files or send files to dreambox + once set up how do i save it in the box as well as my pc

Make a folder on your pc. Receive the files from your dreambox to that folder. Arrange your bouquets how you want them then send them back to your dreambox.
Then hit the button top right of dreamboxedit that says "reload settings on dreambox" OR after you have transferrerd the files back to your Dreambox, Open web browser and paste the following command into the address bar:

thanks mate i got it all sorted ,
i received files from the box in dreambox edit. once i edited bouquets i replaced the existing ones with flash fxp

hi, i wanted to scan new channel for my d500c but it promt me the 4 digit pin which i try '0000' , '1234' , '8888' , '9999' n a few other combination still cant get it. do anyone know whats the default 4 digit pin or how to reset the pin? thks for help.
