    dm500c and oscam

Hi all..feel like ive hit a wall...i have been trying to put oscam on a new dm500c i got myself for xmas...i HAVE to use oscam to access some stuff and have been trying to put it on for the last few days...the learning curve has been very steeeeeep indeed but i need some questions answering now....
I flashed the latest dual commando image (15d?)onto the box and have got it running ok so that im happy...
i have tried to install a variety of oscam tar files notably the powerpc ones as they are recommended for dm500c and flash it to the tmp folder of the box..then chmod 755....but then what?

i know the oscam.conf, user, dvbapi and server(which i have customised to my own requirements)files need to go in certain places but im still unsure...i have read around on here and a variety of other places and get different information.
Also do i assume that the oscam binary is on cos i cant see it...and it doesnt create the conf, user etc files...
Finally is the oscam.server file the only one i need to edit?

    Thanks in advance
